Britney Spears Ready to Quit Music

Britney Spears will quit music and become a "full-time mom" if pop stardom ever makes her unhappy. The "Hold It Against Me" singer would be prepared to walk away from life as a recording artist if she becomes disillusioned with it and focus on raising her two sons, five-year-old Sean Preston and four-year-old Jayden James, her children with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
"I'll be a full-time mom, which would be cool," she said in an interview with V Magazine. "I'd miss my fans and all of the love the most, but I definitely would not miss having my picture taken everywhere I go."
Britney, who endured a public breakdown in January 2008 and has been under the conservatorship of her father Jamie Spears ever since, also claims she made the decision to step away from the fame game years ago because she didn't want her children to be subjected to it. She explained, "I think it's easier to let people in when you're younger, but when I became a mother I wanted more privacy for myself and my children. A life away from my life."

Mariah Carey Embarrassed for Accepting Gaddafi's Money

Mariah Carey has revealed she felt "horrible and embarrassed" after she was paid $1 million to sing for the son of Libya's Colonel Gaddafi. The pregnant singer gave a private performance for members of the dictator's family at a party in the Caribbean in 2006 but has vowed to be careful about who she works for in future.
"I was naive and unaware of who I was booked to perform for. I feel horrible and embarrassed to have participated in this mess," she said in a statement. "Ultimately we as artists are to be held accountable. Going forward, this is a lesson for all artists to learn from. We need to be more aware and take more responsibility regardless of who books our shows."

Kristen Stewart Instantly Fell In Love With Robert Pattinson

Kristen Stewart fell in "love at first sight" with Robert Pattinson. The real life couple play Bella Swan and her vampire love Edward Cullen in the "Twilight Saga" movie series and Catherine Harwicke, who directed the first "Twilight" movie, said Kristen felt an instant attraction to her co-star.
"I looked at a couple pictures and was like, 'I'm not sure.' He had been fired from his last job, he was unemployed, he was in debt," Catherine said. "I have footage of their first meeting at my dining-room table. Kristen was like, 'It's got to be Rob!' She felt connected to him from the first moment. That electricity, or love at first sight, or whatever it is."
While Kristen, 20, eventually managed to convince the director to hire Robert, Catherine revealed she made him promise not to get romantically involved with his co-star because she was only 17 at the time and he was four years older.
She explained to Newsweek, "I told him, 'You've got to realize that Kristen is 17 years old. She's underage. You've got to focus, dude, or you're going to be arrested.' I made him swear on a stack of Bibles."
